At the heart of CFC our greatest passion is to see people discover and use the incredible gifts that God has placed within them…
By giving a year of your life to serving, developing your gifts, character and passion, you could be a key part of God’s plan to change this world! Catalyst exists to see you excel in your leadership and gifting.
The CFC Catalyst internship programme will inspire and equip, encourage and challenge - taking you to new levels of personal confidence and ability.
Duration: 5 September 2011 – 20 August 2012
Fees: £399 / £700 (including international mission trip)
Age: 18 - 25 years
Application closing date: 27 July 2011
Equip

CATALYST teaching is designed to help equip you as a person in relation to your character, integrity, personal gifting, confidence, faith and excellence as well as with practical training for leadership and ministry.
This section of the course will include:
Catalyst PM
A monthly leadership training course with the Senior Pastor and other leaders.
Specialised Training
Throughout the year there will be a number of key Masterclasses from guest speakers in specialised fields. Subjects cover a wide range of practical ministry and leadership training, personal discipleship and Biblical theory.
Training Courses
Throughout Catalyst there will also be opportunities for training in key areas of ministry.
Engage

Through the CATALYST programme you’ll engage in church life in a wide range of areas, and you’ll have the opportunity to put what you have learnt into practice.
Service Streams
All students will serve in the following streams, engaging in a specific area of church ministry
Community Practical
All interns will be involved in community practical work during their working
week.
Weekend Services
The weekend service is the flagship event for any church and intern involvement in helping it run seamlessly is one of the most important training grounds for learning and gaining experience in the art of doing church!
Conferences
Throughout the year interns will have the
opportunity to facilitate conferences and workshops for all areas of church life. This will give the chance to learn key skills such as team work, team leading and managing responsibilities and deadlines along
the way.
Mission
Interns will have the opportunity to serve on a mission trip in Ireland (included in the fee) and an international mission. This is often one of the most exciting and life- changing experiences
of the whole year.
Excel

The CATALYST year is one of personal growth and development that at times can be incredibly challenging, but is always rewarding
Personal Devotion
Interns will be encouraged to pursue God personally during the course of the internship. Leaders are there not just to train interns in tasks but also to spend time helping to
fan into flame the gifts of God within them.
The greatest place this happens is in a life that is sold out for God. An intern’s personal walk with God will be one
of their greatest assets throughout the Catalyst year - indeed throughout life!
Pastoral Support
Catalyst Mentors provide care and support to all our interns so that they will always have someone to connect with. Interns will be actively involved in any ‘Connect Group’ activities within CFC to ensure that their year is surrounded by great friends who can encourage them as they press on to see God do great things.
